Yikes! The flaws of GLADIATOR are nothing compared to ROBIN HOOD, which is an astonishingly bad film. That said, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (director's cut) is better than either of these; it has ROBIN HOOD's idealism and GLADIATOR's edge.

I like Gladiator a lot, but I never really jumped on the boat, so to speak. And Robin Hood, despite some flaws, was much more fun and entertaining.
