Hmm as a child I really liked T2. But gladiator has not only great action, has some great acting.

T2 was at one point (and could still be) the greatest action movie ever. But Gladiator is more than just an action movie. It's rich with psychology, history (though skewed for its purposes), philosophy and drama. No Linda Hamilton is a plus, too... Gladiator is the winner.

I enjoyed both,but I think in every aspect Gladiator was better than T2.

Hm, I say Gladiator is quite a few levels under Spartacus, the 1960 movie with Kirk Douglas as the famous gladiator. T2 is one of those undeniably cool action movies wich never ceases to amaze. Wins this duel fair and square in my view.

Gladiator is a lot more than a straightforward action film. Maximus' journey in the film is very emotional. Crowe ftw!
