Zombie's Halloween II degenerated into stupidity after a promising start (I really thought something cooler was going to come of the white horse). The Hills Have Eyes remake was OK. There were a few parts I liked, but overall it wasn't anything special. Halloween II seemed like it was going to pull off something unusual and then blew it. I absolutely hated the girl protagonist, too.
Thoroughly enjoyed The Hill Have Eyes remake. Halloween II was passable, but not on the same level in my opinion...
