Wow. Sometimes random match-ups are epic and this is one of them. I loved Goon which was hilarious and endearing. Too bad it's no Slap Shot which is in both the upper-echelon of all time comedies and sports movies. It pains me to vote against you Goon....I'm sorry.

YEP! Slap Shot is just a pure classic. Goon was damn good but come on... and yes, I do miss the REAL NHL and the fights. Fights still happen occasionally but they are as rare as an honest Democrat.

Slap Shot may have been good for its time, but edge goes to Goon for better pacing and more physical comedy
