The original movie has a very distinct personality. The new one is such a cut-and-dry, passionless affair.

I thought the new Ninja Turtles was fun for what it was but it doesn't come close to the original.

The original. I didn't like the turtles in the remake, I found them annoying, creepy, and underdeveloped (even for ninja turtles) and if I don't like the turtles in a TMNT movie then that's a big problem.

The remake isn't bad, it was better than the original's sequels by a lot, but it stands no chance against the original
