Maps to the Stars vs. The Wolf of Wall Street

Both are tough to sit through in their own ways, both dark as all hell, both understandably lauded films which while I admired, I never really got fully behind. Despite the range of excellent performances and incredibly dark, funny and disturbing Cronenbergian vibes of Maps to the Stars, Wolf was an assault on the senses and emotions in every sense of the word, which I have come to appreciate more with hindsight. If there is one film which I would rather watch again, it would have to be Wolf, and that's enough to secure a win here.

"MAPS TO THE STARS" underwhelmed me, even though it has a great story and cast, still a pretty weak Cronenberg film. It has 42% here, hm ? "WOLF OF WALL STREET" on the other hand, is so high on my chart because of his entertainment value. It'll take the win by miles.
