Old Yeller vs. Enter the Dragon

I'll give Old Yeller a bone in that it has aged well enough that one wouldn't watch it and automatically dismiss it as something disposable from 55 years ago. Maybe the boy-and-his-dog narrative is just too timeless and the movie is set far back enough that it just seems timeless. Enter the Dragon has a certain grandness to it, however, perhaps something that comes from the attention that Bruce Lee commanded in his role as Lee, plus the intrigue of sending the story to Mr. Han's mysterious island where nothing disappointed. . It is no wonder Enter The Dragon really just cracked the martial arts genre wide open for international audiences. It's hard to overlook that and so it gets the win.

[Insert unfunny joke about putting down Old Yeller again]
