The Collection, mainly because it shifts focus from being the torture porn the first one sort of was and became a warped funhouse of gore that never stops in terms of pacing.

An easy win for The Collector. The sequel is good too, in an over-the-top kind of way, but the tighter focus and sheer unpredictability of the original make it the far more suspenseful and frightening experience.

i really like both films each are different in style and pace and i was very surprised on how much I really liked these films and how good they were- the Collector wins cause of the isolated torture house and pure scares.

Both are great fun. Can’t wait for the third one. I’ll go with the original.

I feel like the sequel did a lot more with the whole "collection" aspect than the original. Also: is it just me, or did the original have really choppy editing?
