This is the one comparison that kept coming up between me and some friends last night. I'll be totally honest. I went into Captain Marvel with 0 expectations because the trailers didn't impress me at all, but I left the theater feeling pleasantly surprised. Captain Marvel was surprisingly good. It didn't shove the whole "I am a woman" thing down my throat as much as I expected it to. Brie Larson fits well into the role (though it remains to be seen if she'll work well in an Avengers/team movie), which is something I wasn't totally sure the movie would nail, but in my opinion, she did it. The first 20 minutes were a bit weird to me. But once Carol lands on Earth, the movie really picks up and is mostly good for the rest of the runtime. It isn't one of the best MCU movies or anything like that, but it's a solid entry. Having said all that, Wonder Woman still blows it away. A better story, better settings, locations, action, direction, and most importantly, a better lead. As good as Captain Marvel is, Wonder Woman is just that much better.
I think overall I prefer Captain Marvel, mainly because the supporting cast were more interesting. This maybe down to having seen Marvel more recently than Wonder Woman.
Not going against the critics with this one.
Captain Marvel is impressive interesting, Wonder Women is an underwhelming overrated crap.

I found Captain Marvel dull and utterly charmless. Wonder Woman was funny and legitimately exciting. No contest here.

Captain Marvel is a solid fun MCU movie, but Wonder Woman gets the edge for not only being the first legitimately good superheroine movie, but Captain Marvel doesn't have any scenes that really wowed/got me like WW's No Man's Land sequence.

Captain Marvel May have it’s problem flaws but intend for me the action was pretty rewatchable but as Wonder Woman doesn’t make any great special of it’s terms so I always giving every marvel over dc anyday.

Captain Marvel has grown on me some but Wonder Woman is still leaps and bounds better

May feel captain marvel is flawed but the reason it felt that far watchable since wonder woman never been that far great special IMO.
Captain Marvel sucks donkey. As has been pointed out most everywhere, it will eventually be the cancer that downs the MCU if allowed. Wonder Woman is the better franchise by a ton.

Captain Marvel is not just boring, it is just bad, bland protagonists and antagonists, and yes Brie Larson is bad in this role which is why we hate it

CM was just plain boring compared to wonder woman

Then both are good movies but Wonder Woman It was really a great movie with a superheroine and they never came out very good compared to other movies of this type
