Two overambitious 21st century sci-fi films about Scarlett Johannsen ascending. Lucy is obviously less inventive, and it's probably less fun, but I'll say that I found Her more heavy handed.

Lucy was more entertaining, but that's not saying much. Jonze really wanted me to be emotionally engaged with his characters, but it didn't happen for me.

I enjoyed Lucy probably more than most people, I could deal with the Junk science, but Her was just overall a better movie.
