I begrudgingly go with Iron Man, because you don't need to have seen a TV series to get the most out of it.

Joss Whedon can take the ball and run with it by making Iron Man the star of Avengers. Judging by the greatness of Serenity, I think he'll balance it all perfectly.

Maybe it's because I saw the TV series, but I was completely floored by Serenity. One of the absolute best Sci-fi films I've seen.
After thinking long and hard, Serenity it is. The backing of such a great TV series, no matter how short lived, is enough to push it past Iron Man.

I've just loved the first Iron Man too long for it to lose in this matchup. I'm new to this whole Firefly thing, but it's really awesome! So, Firefly vs. Iron Man, and Firefly wins. Serenity vs. Iron Man, and Iron Man wins. So Iron Man it is.

Never got into Firefly yes Serenity is great but Iron Man is epic and cool!
