The Howling vs. Don't Look Now

My experiences with these films were the inverse. With Don't Look Now, it was a long, largely unengaging slog that culminated with a fairly satisfying conclusion that left me wanting only slightly. The Howling was a wonderful premise, executed very satisfyingly that ended with a scene that made me angry at the whole film. I'll go with the lasting taste in my mouth, Nicolas Roeg directed a more artful complete package that at least didn't send me away hating the meal. The Howling was a great meal that gave me vile food poisoning just as it was finished, so vile, I passed out like Julie Christie in the restaurant in Don't Look Now. I'll go with DLN.
