Saw vs. Witchfinder General

Oooh, I hadn't thought about comparing these two, but I guess there's an argument to be made that Witchfinder General is kind of a (very) early prototype of the "torture horror" genre that Saw would go on to pioneer... Some food for thought, at least! Anyway, Witchfinder General has Vincent Price in one of the best roles of his entire career, so I'm almost tempted to say it wins by default, but even ignoring that, it's also just a much better film in my opinion!
