In the Line of Fire gets the nod here for me. John Malkovich is one of the best bad guys ever. I enjoyed his performance even more than Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef in The Good The Bad and the Ugly.

Good the Bad and the Ugly is a fantastic film, but since Akira Kurosawa did a better job with Yojimbo and Sanjuro, I don't look at it with the same affection others do. The 3 main actors in GBU are great, but ultimately I felt Malkovich's character was more complex, more raw and more intense.
