Jaws definitely had the better sequel. Jaws 2 isn’t great but it’s decent. Sure it’s a rinse and repeat of the first one, but it has many iconic scenes, a beautiful score just as strong as the first, and some decent characters. And Broody is always a plus. Deep Blue Sea 2 on the other hand is garbage. Just a mess of a film that copies the first without any of the charm or fun.
