BLUGH!

Okay. Night at the Museum is one of the most imaginative premises in recent memory, with breathtaking set design, confident direction from a young visionary, and an absolutely beautiful score, but is critically panned because it happens to be riddled with immature gags and silly jokes to make the kids laugh which clash poorly with stunningly beautiful visuals. National Treasure celebrates American history and captures the aesthetic of which more perfectly and more beautifully than I think even the filmmakers were aware they were doing.
