Black Panther underwhelmed me. Everyone was telling me it was the same Marvel formula only it was done right. Well, I'll tell you. That's exactly what I think of Captain Marvel. It's probably a minor MCU movie and it should've been better, but gosh was it fun. Brie Larson kicked ass. I loved the empowerment moments. Great movie. Marvel is making everything right now apparently.

Black Panther at least had some style to it.
Both solid but unspectacular. Black Panther has a better script, cast and includes the element of social commentary. It isn't perfect but I would watch it again before Captain Marvel!
