I know it's gonna upset people, but I have to go with Hercules. I just had more fun with that movie.

I think both are great, but The Lion King is my favorite.

Wow what a tough decision for me. The Lion King is just classic, but I have such a fondness for Greek Mythology. Now combine that with another love of mine; Disney, PERFECT! I think I'll have to go with The Lion King though...just because it was more significant for me growing up (I remember playing the games on Genesis and Game Gear as well), but I'd rather watch Hercules right now if I had a choice.
I have a soft spot for Hercules, since it was the first movie I saw in a theater. But even I have to admit that The Lion King is much better. Sure, there are some suspicious similarities with Kimba, but who cares: it's great.
Lion King, obviously.

Hercules is fantastic, but The Lion King is the greatest Disney animated movie of all time, imo.

I just finished Hercules and WOW....it was okay! It had its moment, it was a colourful movie with gorgeous animation and some great music, some decent action, some funny moments but nothing stood out to me. The romance between Hercules and the girl fell completely flat for me and whilst the romance between Simba and Nala isn't that great, The Lion King is Disney's best and it crushes Hercules.

I love the songs in both, but Meg makes Hercules the better choice, her song and sassy attitude is perfect

Hercules is a good film, but The Lion King is the best Disney film and best animated film ever made.

The Lion King hands down. Come not, this is not even close - Disney's masterpiece is leagues above Hercules (which is still a good movie).
