There's an undercurrent of humor found throughout Casino and, for that, it wins here. Heat is good, but way too serious.
1995 was an amazing year in movies, these are both in my top five of that year. Heat has the slight edge.

DeNiro's performance in Casino is much better than in Heat. Heat has amazing scenes like the bank robbery shootout and the cafe scene, but Casino is more memorable.

Casino is based on a TRUE STORY. Heat is very entertaining but has major plot holes. Casino wins but its super close

I am changing my mind again. HEAT WINS and its not even close. HEAT is such a bad azz movie with so much tension and the characters are interesting. Casino drags and drags and Sharon Stone stinks the films with her annoying character. HEAT is another 90s classic movie .
