Tough call, but I think I'll have to go with Scream for being far more re-watchable and more "fun". Midsommar is terrific, but if you're already having a bad day, it's not the kind of movie you should reach for.

Midsommar is excellent but I love Scream. It's an all time classic for the genre and still holds up great, Scream for the win.

Don't got much to say about this one really except that I hate Midsommar and have never understood its appeal. Honestly, I've been thinking lately that Scream might not be quite as clever of a movie as I thought when I first saw it, but compared to Midsommar it's almost a masterwork!
