Training Day hands down

Top gun is a very entertaining movie, no one can deny. BUT, training day has a level of suspense with a realism that more people can identify with. and Densel is a badass. just saying.

I'll take Top Gun for pure entertainment value...as well as being the definition of 80's quotable...

Training Day is a much better and entertaining film. Denzel Washington in his best role is unstoppable and really deserved the Oscar.

Top Gun is '80's cheese at its absolute cheesiest. Training Day is great however.
