The Hateful Eight is honestly one of Tarantino's weakest films. It never quite captured the sense of dread and paranoia Quentin wanted to achieve. A lot of it just felt like padding until we got to the good stuff, which isn't even that satisfying as there's no real surprises nobody saw coming. Not a horrible film, but definitely not Tarantino's strongest. Spider-Man 2, represents the best of what the superhero genre has to offer, and may possibly be Sam Raimi's finest film. No competition.

Hateful Eight is awesome but Spider-Man 2 is one of my favorites

I don't get the big deal about Quentin Tarantino, man... I've watched 3 or 4 of his movies now, and while I think all of them are at least fine, or even pretty good, I just don't see why people put the guy on such a pedestal... Spider-Man 2, on the other hand, is a movie that has earned its reputation as one of the best in its respective genre!
