Oooh. I like both of these movies.... I think both are pretty masterful. The Ring terrified me so much that I literally couldn't sleep with the light off for 4 or 5 months. But Memento is obviously one of the best movies ever. I think I have to give it to Memento. partially because I'm uncomfortable with giving a horror movie such accolades, though I'm not sure why.

Wow. This is like Sophie's choice, but I will pick Memento because it was very creative.

John G raped and murdered The Ring.
Memento is the better film but The Ring provides plenty of chills.

Chris Nolan's masterpiece wins hands down.

The Ring isn't very good. The ending is awful and the rest of the film is filled with cheap tricks and things that don't make a lot of sense. Memento wins easily!
