Yow! This is incredibly difficult. Memento is a very well crafted, complex film, as I have mentioned before, possibly the best film of Christopher Nolan. On the other hand, Princess Mononoke is that respective developer's best work, having a nice message, strong relationships, and good action along story plot. But as Memento is more ingenious than princess, for now I'll have it win. It's an awfully close call!

This is indeed a tough match up. Both movies are phenomenal and I will pick Memento in a very close one.
Memento is a mesmerizing thriller that completely works, it's practically flawless. It's style is just so great, gee. That said, I'm going with Mononoke here because it perhaps just captivated me or spoke to me a little bit more. I also loved its fantasy setting, I was just lost in its fantastic world. Sorry, Mr. Nolan, but this one goes to the Master of Animation, Hayao Miyazaki.
