I enjoyed A League of Their Own but I'd pick Major League over it any day.
Both are phenom....but Major League takes it.
A League of Their Own is pretty damn good, but Major League makes me smile just thinking about it. Jobu wins...

League of Their Own's heart is in the right place, but the comedy is way too broad. Major League is just right.
A League of Their Own is the much better film. Tom Hanks is one of the best performances is a sports film ever. The story of family between Geena Davis and Lori Petty make this film more than just a baseball movie. And it tells a story based on what it was like to play in that league and how women were mistreated and ultimately accepted by men, sports fans and eventually the Hall of Fame. Major League is hilarious and has some fantastic scenes worthy of quoting for decades to come, but isn't nearly as good overall.

Major League is a classic. A leage of their own is a nice period piece with a good story, but it fails when competing against a classic. Major League is considered by many to be one of the best sports films ever produced.
