I loved Star Wars for my entire life, and Django for only a short while. I actually slightly prefer Django, but both are top 15.

I love Django, easily the best film of 2012 imo, but this is no contest.
None of Quentin Tarantino's films can touch Star Wars.
Can anything?
From a trilogy standpoint*
In my opinion Nolan's Batman trilogy is slightly above Star Wars.

I wouldn't say that no Tarantino film beats Star Wars. Maybe not ESB but I believe Pulp Fiction is superior to Star Wars....I slightly prefer Django for now...Upon my latest viewing of Star Wars, it dropped a bit on my list.

I'm breaking the streak and choosing Django Unchained. I honestly prefer most of Tarantino's films over the original Star Wars.

I've got no nostalgia for Star Wars. I look at these movies for their quality, acting and entertainment value. They are fun films but I love Django.
