I felt Hud was disappointingly hokey but even as a wrestling fan, or maybe especially as a wrestling fan, Ready to Rumble was just awful (which I guess accurately represents wrestling as entertainment, since it's pretty awful most of the time anyway). Also, Hud has Paul Newman and Ready to Rumble only has.... Martin Landau, briefly.
