Both films that Scar Jo has been nominated for this year and they're both well deserved. This is actually a tough choice for me but I think I'm leaning more towards JoJo Rabbit with it's ability to balance the heavy subject matter with hilarious satire.
Jo Jo Rabbit is the best film of the year!

Two Academy Award best picture nominees starring Scarlett Johansson and featuring direct references to David Bowie and the Beatles. Marriage Story is an excellent marriage drama with excellent acting, a terrific score and a superb screenplay. Jojo Rabbit is charming, funny and entertaining. It's also an excellent movie and it's my front runner for Best Picture this year. It's close enough, but Jojo Rabbit still takes this one.
