Once Upon a Time in the West wins. Drive is the modern version of this classic western though. Pretty similar story lines. Once again Ill say The West wins.

4.5 hours worth of footage. 23 secs worth of dialogue.
4.5 hours of 'awesome', more like.
West just rubs me wrong. "How did Henry Fonda get here? How did Charles Bronson get there? Wait a minute, you have to _establish_ that bandit's ass-slappy personality, otherwise it feels out of place and dumb thrown in at the end of the movie." etc. Any other Leone movie would annihilate here, but...
Both were good not great ill give it to Once Upon a Time...

Don't really love Drive. Great film, wonderfully shot and directed, I just can't bring myself to love it. Once Upon a Time in the West on the other hand, is a masterpiece worth lovin'.
