Psycho vs. Dracula

Oh goodness! Two of the most iconic horror films of all time. Both are very atmospheric. Most folk I know that have seen Dracula (1931) tend to say it was slow, dull, and boring. I completely disagree. I thought it jumped right into the crux of the story. Of course there's an absence of background music that lolls some to sleep, but you should check out the version with Phillip Glass' score added. Psycho is the winner, but Dracula is definitely a top 100 on my chart.

Both are fantastic. Psycho

Agreeing with the majority, put me in the camp that found Dracula rather dull.

I actually liked Dracula very much, even though it's far away from my favorite Universal Classic Monsters. It was a short and rather pleasant watch tho. Oh, but it's no Psycho. Psycho is easily one of the best movies of all time; and I don't think there's a 20s/30s that could match it.

Psycho>Dracula

Psycho all the way. Dracula is a bore.
