Oof. I recognize the technical brilliance and amazing film that Citizen Kane is, but.. Princess Mononoke is really beautiful as well and I'd probably pick it to watch over Kane most nights of the week.

Yeah, Citizen Kane was a great movie. But once I realized it seemed more interested in technical mastery and that the story was rather cold and distant, it started losing me. Mononoke is one of a kind animation, brilliant in every regard and also entertaining as entertaining could get. Easy pick here for me.
