Scarlet Street vs. The Killing

The Killing is both more important to the film noir/crime genre and the better film here. I liked Scarlet Street quite a bit, and it had a truly exceptional ending, but it moves fairly slow. The Killing is more consistently paced and engaging for me. It also has one of the greatest endings I've seen and is Kubrick's first Kubrick movie!
