Women beating people up. I can't remember hardly anything from Tomb Raider, and I like Alicia Vikander. I do recall that the violence is fairly down and dirty, though, which was perhaps the only real selling point. But Peppermint has almost non-stop brutal violence, and Jennifer Garner ain't half bad herself. I would probably rather watch Garner's character in future films than sit through another Tomb Raider flick.

Exactly this. Peppermint had great kinetics, OK tension, and a pretty solid lead performance. All I can say for Tomb Raider is that Alicia V is a great actress, but the movie is only slightly better than Angelina's two utterly garbage outings.
