While I thought "Thunderball" started to show some cracks in the James Bond series (though it's still not a bad film), "Lost In Translation" is an absolute mess compared to "Thunderball". No contest here.

I enjoy a lot about "Thunderball," but it's not even in my top 5 Bond movies. I loved "Lost in Translation," because it didn't really tell the story I thought it was going to tell. Every step of the way, it zagged when it seemed obvious to zig.
