Great early Hitchcock versus great early Kubrick. I'll take Rebecca.

Brilliant early Hitchcock vs brilliant early Kubrick; both films that launched the careers of two formidable directors. To Hitchcock's credit, he had already made "The 39 Steps" and "The Lady Vanishes" but his "Rebecca" made him the most admired of Hollywood directors. Rebecca is dark, twisted and a compelling story, driven by beautiful cinematography, outstanding performances and Hitchcock's direction. "The Killing" is a terrific crime thriller and one of Kubrick's very best yet "Rebecca" wins for its story and performances.
The Killing...but both deliver.
I'll go The Killing as well. Never a fan of Rebecca.
