No comments? Wow! Very good Hitchcock showdown right here. Rebecca's story is more intriguing, but Rope's story is more engaging. They both effectively build tension like only Hitchcock can do. Rebecca feels like the right choice considering the acting, but there's just something about Rope that I can't accurately articulate that just drives me wild. Rope with the slight edge.

I'm more interested to revisit ROPE, ergo it gets the nod from me this time. I owe REBECCA another look at some point, though.
