The Moon Is Blue vs. Come Dance with Me!

In Come Dance with Me!, Brigitte Bardot goes undercover giving dance lessons in order to clear her dentist husband of being accused of murder. There's also some transvestism in there. The Moon Is Blue is about a matter-of-fact, but good-natured girl who meets a man on the Empire State Building. He wants to get it on, but she's a "professional virgin", and only agrees to kissing. Hijinks ensue. While the romance in The Moon Is Blue has no real spark (though the girl's personality is the reason, which is the joke), the banter is often funny. Come Dance with Me! is more overtly spicy, but not quite as entertaining. The mystery part didn't hold my interest much. Both are breezy, fun films that I enjoyed. The Moon Is Blue just made me laugh more.
