Wow, two astounding pieces of filmmaking, both perhaps the pinnacle of their genres. Even though Angst is a brilliant character study, Totoro manages to be a light-hearted optimistic feel-good fantasy for all ages, including adults. That to me is an achievement more worthy of celebration.

Changed my mind. Angst is a better movie, even if that makes me sound like a creep :P
