La jetée vs. Memento

Both films have their own ways of letting their leads relive moments over and over again. Memento was spoiled for me, somewhat, by someone who had seen it previously giving away the plot device. Le jetee was more of a photo essay with narration, but still packed in a surprising amount of emotion. I probably could be talked into watching La jetee over again quite easily, just for the novelty of the project. I'd probably find the overall experience of watching Memento over again more entertaining, but for the raw emotion that Marker made me feel in La jetee, I give it the win.
