SH is a great—perhaps the best—adaptation of a video game I've seen. Its atmosphere is chilling and amplifies that of the game. Furthermore, I think it is a great horrific story when considered separately from the game. Ultimately, though, 25th Hour is a much more poignant and meditative film. As far as watchability, if the two were on right now, I'd go with SH. This is a tough one. 25th hour gets it since I can unequivocally say that, in absolute terms, it's a better film.
