Oldboy was very well done but just not enjoyable at all. Masochistic viewing, no thanks. Grumpy Old Men is quite enjoyable in a pretty accurate upper Midwest setting. I appreciate that. Other examples would be Fargo or Nebraska.
Old boy is brilliant and unlike any film out there. Grumpy Old Men is funny but forgettable.
