Winnetou and Shatterhand in the Valley of Death vs. Winnetou und das Halbblut Apanatschi

Interesting matchup between two of the later Winnetou flicks. Valley of Death is certainly more mature (especially because of that one disturbing whipping scene), but I don't know if it's really better than Halbblut Apanatschi (Half-Breed). The latter features an annoying little brat that really ruins certain parts of the film (keep children out of more or less serious movies, please), but it also has the better soundtrack and battles. Hm... The more I think of that stupid kid in Halbblut Apanatschi, the more I want to take Valley of Death.
