Two unforgettable movie experiences. Jurassic Park is more memorable though! GREATEST MOVIE EVER!

You know, it's interesting. Right now, I claim that The Dark Knight is rightfully in my #2 slot on Flickchart. But I do often wonder: 20 years from now, will I better remember TDK, or Jurassic Park? For now, I still have to go with Nolan's masterpiece...but JP is proudly in my Top 20.

Jurassic Park was absolutely memorable, but, for me, I think The Dark Knight will be just as memorable years from now. Some new director would attempt a remake; the world would cry foul; and the legacy of the original will go on.

i´d rather watch JP again at the moment
TDK for me. JP was entertaining, but not Spielberg's best work and it doesn't have the impact of Nolan's Epic.

I'm a longtime Bat-fan, but there's something about "Jurassic Park" that's in my blood. It gets the nod.

Sorry nostalgia, I choose TDK. Jurassic Park was a technical achievement but if we take factors such as storytelling and acting into account, it's not that hard a decision.

What TravisSMcClain said, but switch the two around. It might just be an age thing, but I'd much rather watch TDK these days, as I find it more impactful. Plus whenever I watch JP, I know it so well now that I focus on the flaws rather than the plus points. Both are still superb entertainment and i'd be tempted by a re-release of JP with updated computer effects (PROVIDING THEY ARE DONE RESPONSIBLY!!!), but right now, TDK is just the better film.

Fantastic matchup! As showstopping as TDK is, the enjoyment factor of Jurassic Park wins out in the end.

it's jurassic park, beautiful score, perfect story and acting, and overall super memorable. It's also the movie that I've seen the most in my life!

Both are unforgettable masterpieces, but I do think Jurassic Park is better. It perfectly captures the awe and terror that one would feel if these creatures really existed but also brings interesting thematic elements like progression vs regression which is a theme used quite a lot in the film. Honestly, I'd say that Jurassic Park is a pretty perfect movie. The Dark Knight's great, but I do think Jurassic Park beats it. Not many films can be both perfectly entertaining, yet philosophical at the same time. While The Dark Knight pulls this off very well, JP does it better
Another one of those where I wish I could say it was closer than it actually was: love TDK, just love JP a lot more.

This is a pretty close matchup, but yeah Jurassic Park just barely edges this out pretty good. It's better shot, better written, and even more engaging and gripping. TDK is a modern masterpiece and a classic that people will remember years from now, but I don't think it could ever have as much of an impact as Jurassic Park has. So yeah, JP gets my nod, but it's very close

The dark knight by a long shot. Jurassic Park may be one of the most original movies in sci-fi, but The dark knight has better acting, great editing, and deals with more mature themes.
