I always go back and forth between these two. Probably Nolan's best films, from the ones I've seen. I'll go with Dark Knight for now.

I stick Memento in the middle: TDK > Memento > Prestige. Oh, and they're all in my Top 5, by the way.

Show me the magic!

Nolan, Nolan, Nolan!!!!

In Nolan We Trust.

Wow, Tough one!

Bale and Caine were given more chances to shine in The Prestige, but The Dark Knight was a more revelatory experience for me.

TDK.

THE DARK KNIGHT! Prestige is an amazing period piece though.

I finished watching The Prestige a few minutes ago. Damn. What a great movie, I loved it. The only real problem I had with the movie was the storytelling. The story was told in an order that is somewhat difficult to get used to; sometimes I didn't know if a scene was a flashback or was just part of the 'natural' story. I guess it's much easier to understand with a repeated viewing. But besides that, I have zero problems. The acting was fantastic, the twists were surprising and the subject itself is fascinating. It's close, but I have to pick The Prestige over The Dark Knight. Better performances, more interesting subject, although it probably doesn't have the same rewatch value as The Dark Knight.

Just saw the Prestige it was great but its no Dark Knight Batman wins easily

I love the Prestige, though it is not as good as The Dark Knight.

Dark Knight is regarded as Nolan's best work but I feel that it relies, mainly, on Heath Ledger's amazing performance as the Joker. The Prestige, though a lot cheaper, brings back the mysterious feel that has made Nolan so famous and always keeps the audience guessing. Prestige wins

I feel that The Prestige gets overlooked because of it's complexity. The movie isn't for everybody. It's like some people shrug their shoulders at it then proceed to cast it into the miscellaneous section of their minds. It's not straightforward like TDK. However, it's the better film in my opinion. There is absolutely nothing I dislike about The Prestige. I can't say the same about TDK as I'm annoyed by Batman's voice. Still a great movie, but I give the edge to The Prestige.

Both are complex and layered thrilling pieces. The Prestige is probably the neater and better crafted film but I think I somehow find TDKR more enjoyable at times.

Darn. Both are absolutely fantastic Nolan movies. But I feel that The Prestige is the underrated masterpiece here. The Dark Knight is the overrated masterpiece.

It's times like these where I forget about the fanboys and realise just how intelligent and refreshing Nolan's films truly are.

The Prestige lost a lot of power for me after I knew all the twists.

Can't add much more. It's TDK...

Both are fantastic but The Dark Knight is the one I re-watch more.

The prestige is my all time favourite film with great cast and a great stoty line the dark knight well i found it good and enjoyble bt not in the level of the prestige

It's the Prestige for me. I actually like it more each time I watch it. David Bowie was absolutely perfect as Tesla and the very last scene with all the top hats gives me chills. Memento>Prestige>TDR>Inception>Insomnia>Batman Begins. Although waiting for Interstellar to mix that list up.

The Prestige is bupkis compared to Nolan's magnum opus: The Dark Knight;

the prestige wins easily

darn it. It' s very hard....

The Dark Knight is the better Nolan movie

The Prestige and Memento are the reason I follow Nolan. Prestige.

TDK wins because nothing beats Ledger's Joker

Definitely The Prestige.

The Prestige all the way. It's sad to see a good director like Nolan in the dumb superhero genre.

Dark Knight for me but I love both

Thank goodness for Nolan, he literally saved the Aughts (00's).

probably his two best movies one with a great ending (the prestige) and the other with an amazing opening scene. but to me it is still the dark knight with out a doubt...one of my favorite movies of all time

Nolan will never top The Prestige. Greatest achievement of his extraordinary career!

The Prestige has better acting, direction and a lot more layers and complexity which is what I want in a movie! Nothing against The Dark Knight, though, since it's a superbly made film!

The Prestige was a far more engrossing film imo. The screenplay is arguably the best in a Nolan film and themes are interweaved very well. The Dark Knight is a phenomenal film, but I do believe that The Prestige is a bit better.

Changed my mind here. TDK wins this

TDK wins this, but both are masterpieces
