Oh yes, I went there. More likeable hero, better filmed action, more exciting, and I'm a sucker for social commentary. There you go.

Batman Begins could have been better. Some people thought it was draggy, didn't like the "realistic" explanations of his skills, heh, a few in fact took points off just for Katie Holmes...I never thought about comparing it to R2, but, yeah, R2 was actually more exciting now that I think about it...and don't discount the music aspect of things - I honestly don't know why Hans Zimmer has to write everything these days, it all sounds the same, and although that can be said of many famous film composers, I don't like Zimmer's sameness, the others' variations don't annoy me...imagine Batman Begins with John Williams, James Horner, or even back to Danny Elfman...you'd have a much different "feeling" to even the action scenes...
Batman Begins, no contest. Against Robocop 1, it would be a debate, but here, RC2 gets demolished.
