Interesting.
Heat is just all kinds of epic. Batman Begins is very good. Epic beats very good.

Heat wins here.
Both films rank high on my meter. I guess I'll go with Batman Begins because I found the film to have equally good acting but slightly stronger, more focused story telling. Batman Begins for the Win! Why do I need this? Because if I don't, my vote might to to the other side.

Batman wins a close one.
Heat all the way. I didn't really appreciate BB until after I watched TDK. And after I watched TDKR, BB really began to amaze me. But still, it can't touch Heat.

Heat is impressive but overall I flat out like Batman Begins more.

BB was meh for me, and I thought the take on batman was pretty shit compared with Keaton's fun version. Though this opinion changed immensely after TDK. Surely Heat wins here for just how damn great the action and characters are. Plus I love the cat and mouse suspense throughout the film, and how it humanized De Niro and Pacino's characters. BB felt, meh, and didn't get me excited at all, except for a little bit at the end, but I didn't think it was a very fun film.

Heat has the greatest actors around the century.
Batman Begins is underrated. Heat is a bit overrated.
