On the Waterfront vs. Witness for the Prosecution

Goodness. The 1950's has to be the best decade for movies. I'm going with Waterfront for now but both are top 20 caliber films.

Witness for the Prosecution is fine, but it's not among Billy Wilder's best. On the Waterfront, though, is a great film. For me, it wins easily.

I disagree Caesar, I think Witness is very much among Wilder's best, in fact I'd put it second to Double Indemnity. Witness For the Prosecution wins.
