127 Hours vs. Deliverance

Two very incredible films about survival out in the wilderness away from civilization. While I do like Reynolds and Voight in Deliverance, Franco's performance in 127 Hours tops everyone's in Deliverance x3.

I do really like "Deliverance" as well, but I'm of the opinion that Boyle, one of the few directors I know without a bad movie to his name, outdid himself with "127 Hours." I've got a feeling it will be among my favorite of the decade when those lists start popping up in several years.

Deliverance wins here

I personally think Boorman's directorial style is one of the most underrated and underappreciated, but I still got to go with "127 Hours" by a very significant degree.

Two great movies about survival and just how much the human mind is willing to take. Both are pretty much equal to me, so I'll let me chart decide the outcome.
