Heartfelt violence or disturbing midfuck. Both are BLOODY good. Oh yeah, I went there. Kick-Ass wins for the better lead performance, but holy crap Funny Games will fuck you up.

Calling Funny Games just a disturbing mindfuck is dumb. It's a manipulation on audience and their reactions. It's a study on how violence is represented in films. It's a terrifying parody -that is not funny and is not suppose to be obviously- about horror films. It plays with the genre and it plays with the audience. Kick-Ass is dumb while somewhat entertaining I guess. Funny Games of course.
