Am I seriously the first person to write a comment on these two movies? The only better match-up would be their respective ri-goddamn-diculous sequels. Ridiculous in a good way, that is. These two movies are part of a vaunted pantheon that represent the '80s like few others can. Kudos to you, Gizmo, Bill, and Ted. You win with either of these movies, really. I'm picking Gremlins today, but that changes with how I'm feeling. Both of these movies are clear winners, any day of the week.

Wow. A match-up I really had to consider. Both movies I remember fondly watching a lot while growing up, and both are movies I love to this day. But in the end, I'm choosing Gremlins. A horror comedy set during Christmas? Can't go wrong.
